Take-offs on Tuesday

Sigma Swimming
Happy Tuesday Sigma Swim and Stroke Schoolers!

We like to provide you with some weekly general info/education that is related to your Sigma swim lessons and stroke development. This week's swim tip teaches swimmers how to properly take off from the wall.

Fact of the week: Taking off and starting from the wall is a very specific skill. Beginners will leave the wall on their stomach or back, simply trying to get moving. Intermediates will take off on their stomach or back but streamlining underwater. Advanced swimmers will start with the objective of going underwater far, fast, and consistent.

How does my child move up? Come to every swim class, bring your progress report, earn those stickers, and ask your child's instructor or location's deck manager if you have questions.

Have a wonderful week!
