Sigma Swimming
Happy Thursday Adult Swim Schoolers!

This week, we continue our break from the Adult Beginner topics unpack the Freestyle stroke a little more.

Fact of the week: The efficiency of your freestyle depends heavily on your head position, the way your hand enters, the 3 parts of your pull, how your arm moves forward through the air, and your kick. Every swimmer should first start their freestyle journey with a correct head position: Eyes looking directly down at the bottom of the pool.

How do I move up? Attend as many of your classes as possible, communicate with your instructor on your struggles, goals, and where you're at in our curriculum. We also have many adults who purchase a gym membership to 24 Hour Fitness or LA Fitness while they are taking lessons so they can practice 2-3 times between classes.

Practice, practice, practice!
